Uwell nunchaku popping and spitting

Recently changed my baby smok tank for a uwell nunchaku. I use it on the smok baby beast mod but I’m struggling to stop it from popping and spitting liquid

I’m running the 0.25 ohm coil and have tried cleaning it out again. Vaping at 50w and closed the air vents down most of the way but still getting liquid spitting slightly

Any thoughts?

Some juice can have distilled water added to thin it and the water can spit if not mixed well enough.
What juice you using in it?

A hot spot on the coil or flooding can also cause this.

Usually increasing or decreasing the power can help in these cases.

Juice is one custom to a local shop, it’s a70/30 mix which was fine in the previous tank.

Upped the wattage to the higher recommended setting on the coil. I do have another coil with higher ohm and slightly higher recommended wattage so will try that

It may be just a dodgy coil but don’t want to swap it out too early and waste it.

It may be just a dodgy coil but don’t want to swap it out too early and waste it.

Drop the wattage slightly till it stops and every now again increase it see if its properly stopped.
If its the coil it should settle down as it beds in.

The 0.4 coils spit too much for me. I like the 0.25 coils but I have one juice it does not like at all. It’s supposed to be 70/30 but I suspect it’s higher vg.
My advice would be to try an alternative juice and stick to the 0.25 coils.

Thanks folks, is the 0.25 I’m using, closed the air flow right up so only a small gap and seems ok now. Problem now is I’m whistling enough to annoy the dogs in the area with every puff!

I’m sure someone mentioned a longer pin for this tank in another thread that’s designed to stop spitting and gurgling at lower power. Unless I dreamt that?
