Vamo v5 and iclear 30s problem with taste?

I got an iclear 30 with my MVP and even after cleaning it had a strong metallic taste and after a few days was burnt out. I'm not a fan.

I-30 , I-30B are different to to the I-30s.
Not much but maybe that's all it takes to change the taste.

I don't go above 4v, I have it set now at 3.8v but could probably go lower.
Of course I could go higher on the volts but why.
Having plumes of vapour in the air, well that's a waste isn't it?
I just want enough vapour to to get my hit and a nice taste.

In reply to the OP. When I use an iclear30s I open the top cap and take the grey silicon cap off and remove the flavour wick which sits on top of the top coil. Then put the cap back on.

I find that this works for me and gives me better flavour and very few dry hits.

Thanks for for the tip there. I tried that and other things today and can't get a happy medium with this iclear. The other killer for me is the serious amount of juice I'm going through. I must have put in 12 ml yesterday all in.

What I have done is gone back to my protank 3 and taken out the rubbish dual coil and replaced it with a evod 2.4 ohm single coil. Fairly high voltage really good taste and vape and didn't refill the tank once all day today. Thank you for your input guys I really appreciated your help.

if I'm running a 1.8ohm coil in vivi nova I go 3.7v that's my sweet spot on the nautilus 1.6ohm I set it at 3.5v

Never used a vivi. But the nautilus. Best clearo I be used.

I got a i30 with my MVP. But it back in the box. Was using it around 4.2v. Found any lower than 3.8 it would dump recondensed fluid into my mouth from that dam awful tip that came with it.

Stop it! As I was typing that last post last night I thought RIGHT that's it settle with what you've got but now you drop the nautilus on me! Ok I'm going to google it and see where I can get one in the uk. Getting the vaping gear is addictive!

Another vote for the Nautilus here! I absolutely love mine. You can also get the stainless steel replacement tanks from Gray-Haze...very quick shipping. Only problem is that it doesn't have a window to view the juice levels, but if you're only wanting to take it out and about for the day, one good fill up should do ya
