Both the vamo and vtr take the same batteries.
I have a vamo,mvp and vtr and love them all in their own unique ways, the mvp used to be my all day/work rig, but has now been superseded by the vtr.
Maybe go for the mvp?
OR, if you are thinking of getting the vtr at a later date then go for the vamo, as you will then have the charger and batteries for it, you 'might' save some money in the long run!
