What's new

Vamo Variable Voltage, Variable Wattage and Vivia Nova V5 from E Smoke UK

I adore big, long and shiny, I've caught shineyitis!
I want a vamo badly but don't think Santa will put one in my stocking, everybody I l know is happy with simple ego batteries and think I'm just showing off with my Lavatube.
A Cobra or a Foggarty on top would look really good, my tiny genie clones look stupid. :)
I want variable watts, and I want pulsed!

the best thing to stick on top of a vamo .. is an Aga-t if only for its sheer gargantuan proportions

Just got mine this morning and took it out to the works party, in 18350 mode. In 18350 mode it is about 5mm taller than the Provari Mini when that is in 18490 set up (i.e. with it's extension cap fitted). Weight wize it is substantial.

The chrome finish looks good and the buttons feel good and substantial. The little buttons are solid - none of the nasty feel of the Lavatube and easy to use - again big plusses over the LT.

What I dont like is the asymmetric window that sticks out on the r/h side. It looks like a fault, bad assembly and plain weird - shame it's not flush, but on aesthetics, that's it. It ain't pretty - but few tubes are - most look tediously functional.

I like the deep top with the recess that accommodates Ego skirts. And I very much like the display - it makes those on the Provari and IMotion look antiquated and cludgey and is very clear and easy to read. Once I'd read the manual this was easy to operate - it's simple and really well specified.

On set up my 18650 battery was fine but the 18350 rattled. I looked at the end cap and it has the V1 end cap (straight sided small spring) - but it was easy to extend this with a little gentle pulling - problem solved. I was then concerned to check whether it is a V2 - it is; there's a small rubber protection ring around the +ve terminal and in VW (but not VV) mode - it holds its settings when the battery is taken out and then replaced.

Overall there's a real quality feel to this and it is easy to use and very well specified. I have not yet unwrapped the lovely shiny 'V5' Vivi Nova tank (allegedly uderneath it's a V2.5 - can someone confirm which heads are compatible with it please?) that came with this but it looks da biz.

This reached me from Esmoke in 3 days - which is brilliant as I am out in the sticks and the overall price from them is stunning.

I am so glad I bought this - I suspect I will be buying another one at some point I am so pleased with it.

This sets new standards on price and features and blows the Lavatube and Z Max into the weeds on these. In fact - this sets new benchmarks on several levels.

Thank you http://www.esmokeuk.co.uk/ for the bargain of the year.

Thanks To you all and im so glad your happy with your new purchases,

The Vivi Nova although has the air hole in the Base like the 2.5 rather than the threads does take the new shorter replacement heads either with or without the metal nipple.

Once again thank you all for your custom and support.

Keep looking out in the new year for the Black chrome and Stainless Steel Vamo's as well as the AGA rebuildable range and AGR DCT tank

Hope you all have a Great Christmas

Cheers

Dave

Grrr. Can someone not hate this thing? Want one, but it's Christmas and apparently people need presents.

I love mine, only gripe is that it's massive with the bigger battery in there and the build quality is not a provari, only time will tell if it lasts but I have a sticky button already. Apart from that it's a belter.

I have a sticky button as well the + one

Same here dude. Its a great mod for the money but IMO vs a Provari the build quality ain't there by a long chalk. That said it's £120 cheaper.

Totally agree and no matter what mod I get I always go back to my provari after a couple of days
