Vape seems weak with little taste

So I’ve come back to vaping after a few years out and I’ve just ran into a problem I never had!

A few weeks back I grabbed myself a Vape Geek Aegis mini set up along with the Element Pink Lemonade (dripper series) everything was great and I went through the coils that come in the box!

Today, went and grabbed myself some new coils and the guy in the store told me they didn’t have any, but did have the smok v8 baby-t6 coils that also fit. I used smok a lot when I used to vape and loved the tvf4 so went away happy! Also got some new element banana nut as it’s another old favourite.

Got home, primed my coil and put in a tank of juice and have vaped a tank and a half at 80watts. Still getting very little flavour and the clouds seem pretty weak. I don’t get what’s happening? The only other thing is that the juice in the tank seems a lots more watery than it was when I was vaping the pink lemonade?

Anyone else ever ran into anything like this?

Hi and welcome to the planet.
Tfv4 was the last decent tank and coils they released. Then they flooded the market and their QC went to pot. Weekly posts of coils only lasting a day or two.
So best to avoid smok coils if you want a decent vape.

Make the investment if you like subohm tanks and get a freemax mersh pro tank ... No other words necessary... [emoji6]

What’s the VG content on the bottle of the banana nut you’ve bought? Element make a lower VG version as well as the ‘dripper’ version, which would explain why the liquid’s thinner.

Hi mate. The Aegis Mini maxes out at 80 w, so if your setting it up for a coil that can go 80w, and setting the Mini at 80, well, thats all kinds of wrong! Theres your problem.

It's like my car will do 150 apparently, but I don't do 150 everywhere. Aside from the legality issue, it'll use too much fuel and wear the car out quickly. Any mod consistently operating at max wattage won't last long. You're vaping at 80w? Get a 200w mod. More batteries, more power = less stress.

If it takes baby coils then it also takes eleaf HW-M and HW-N coils. Both are mesh, need less power than the T6 coils to function well and they provide better flavour.

Thanks all for the great input, all makes perfect sense! Picked up a 220w mod today so I’ll let you know what happens!
