Vaping and soar throat

I have been vaping a couple of years now roughly, I mix all my own juice and I mix at 12% nicotine, 70vg/30pg and up till now I have used many tanks, sub ohm, smok, atlantis, etc and I have had no problems. Recently I changed to the joyetech cubis and aspire Cleito, since using them over the last month or so I have had a constent soar throat. I believe it is because of the high nicotine, the problem is I have lots of pre mixed 50ml bottles steeping, If it is the nicotine and say I have a 50ml bottle at 70vg/30pg at 12% nicotine if I put half in another 50ml empty bottle what should I add to both bottles to make them both roughly 6% nicotine and the same 70vg/30pg, any help would be grateful thanks in advance (and a quick response for the soar throat, lol)

Double everything except nicotine, it'll half he nic %.

Eg:
- Bottle 1 12mg nic 30 ml...
- bottle 2 0mg nic 30 ml...

Mix together, you should have 60ml of 6mg nic

Might it not be the infernal winter bugs going around? I've had the bug twice this winter which happens to include extended spells of suffering severe sore throats. So much so that vaping has had to be abandoned and or restricted for longish periods.
