Vaping experience

Hi @Sandman08 and welcome to the planet.

after 37 years of smoking 20-30 a day i gave up overnight with 18mg for the first couple of months almost 8 years ago and have never looked back as not touched a cig since.
im happy on 3mg chugging away all day using 30-50ml a day of custard.
due to other health issues i have regular checkups and have been told my lungs now look the same as a never smoker.
there are plenty of horror stories out there on the net and once there they stay there forever scaring unsuspecting new vapers. most of it is total bullshit and scaremongering at best and has been debunked by the experts.
im sure cancer research uk would not back vaping if there was a risk and also hospitals now opening vape shops on nhs premises.

Welcome @Sandman08 and well done on kicking the ciggies into touch. I stopped smoking overnight in 2014 and not had or wanted a ciggie since I found it really easy after trying many times to stop smoking and always failed. This place is brilliant and there will always be someone to answer as many questions as you want to ask. I MTL on about 9mg nic and happy to stay that way.

Welcome to potv. This summer will be my 8th anniversary of quitting rollups through vaping, tried other methods but they never worked, health wise I feel much better. I only vape mtl and started off on 12mg and am now down to 3 and recently started mixing my own juice, saves even more money.

Good luck on giving up with fags for good.

Thanks all!
I switched to vaping the Juul around the 01/02/23. I found the juul vape to be harsh and a pain in the neck for many reasons. Dead batteries were a constant and resulted in my buying a few packs of cigs.
I visited my local vape shop and they set me up with a vaporesso. I stated out with 6mg vanilla custard and after about 10 days found that flavor to be disgustingly sweet. Now I smoke a smooth tobacco flavor 6mg.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how easy the switch has been. I was a 30 cigs a day smoker for and have smoked for 45+ years.
I have smoked many brands over the years, always looking for the tasty light/ultralight brands.
So when I switched to vaping I approached it as just a new brand. I’m loving the cost saving and not at all stinky vaping option! Thanks for the support!
