Hi all,

I recently brought a Vaporesso X2 and it came with a couple of pods that were fine. I decided to buy the pods which I can put a coil in as they seems better value. The 0.8 pre installed standard pod was great but for some reason the pod that I insert a 0.8 tastes off, like a chemical taste and burns out after a couple of hours use. I have left a new coil to soak over night and still have the same issue. Have gone through 4 coils in a week. I'm wondering if because the rubber bung fell out of the new pod that is causing the issue. I can't be my juice because I do not get any issue with the throw away pods only with the packs of coils. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

Where you getting your coils from?

That's most likely your problem, alot of fake products on Amazon. Your better off looking at the trusted vendor part of this forum. And buy from a reputable outlet.
Appreciate that Moses, will try some from somewhere else

I've just put a new coil in the pod that the bung hasn't fallen out of and that seems to be ok. Could it be the bung not being in causes an issue? With the bung in its so hard to see the juice level. Why did they make them that way.

Morning guys, so I bought some new colis from a recommended site on here. Still an issue with the coils. If I use the disposable ones with my juice they last around 5-7 days but if I used the coils I'm lucky if I get 1-2 days. It's like the airflow is much better on the disposable ones. It's so strange. I only got the device because I wanted to use coils rather than the more expensive disposable pods.

what juice are you using and what ratio vg/pg is it?
recommended 50/50

Thanks to their bottom-filling design, pods can be easily refilled with 2ml of e-liquid by removing the rubber stopper on their base. The built-in coils keep maintenance simple, as you can just replace your whole pod with a new one when the coil is finished. Plus, their mesh design means you can expect better flavour from your vape juice, as it’ll heat more of it at a faster rate. The 0.6 Ohm coil creates a little more vapour than the 0.8 Ohm version, but both work best with 50% VG e-liquid, like most nic salts.
