Morning Folks

Recently purchased one and really helping me to kick the cigs. Will probably change the tank at some point but happy enough for now.

My question on this occasion is what levels of juice are optimum for the device? It uses the GT Mesh coils...can any other coil be used with this?

I've been using 15mg and 12 mg at 50/50. Can the lower strength liquids/different pg/vg be used with this? I was on about 10 roll ups a day.

Thanks in advance!

Fred

Hi Fred, the kit your using is a direct to lung subohm kit and normally is used for 70vg juice at 3mg or 6mg

When your vaping it do you puff it like you would a roll? Or are you sucking the vapour directly into your lungs like a bong?

Hi mate, I knew it was a direct to lung but thought the juices needed to be at least 12mg or over! Taking the vape straight down. Device appears to run all right! Would using 50/50 12s/15s cause damage to it in the long run?

No damage mate but you must have lungs of steel [emoji23] at worst using thin juice would only cause the coil to flood or the tank to leak

And 12mg and over tends to be for MTL devices with low power and 6 and under for high power but if it works for you just stick with it mate [emoji4]

Ha, I get the occasional splutter! I'd rather try the device at its optimum so will give a 70/30 at 3mg a go. Have been getting a bit of leakage and burnt taste but been going up to 220watt with it.

Are there websites/guides for best juice levels performance for vapes? No info on website I bought from or instruction book.

Cheers for help

Not that I know of bud but your coil should have a wattage range on the side of it

Yea it does, between 80 and 110 i think. I was vaping mainly around 130 as wasn't getting enough of a hit. Any idea if this will take coils other than the GT Mesh?

puffing 12mg at 130 watts is pretty hardcore. If it works, then all is good, though.

Hang on a minute.
WTF!
You are going up to 220w

All coils will have a wattage range on them and the idea is to keep below that maximum range otherwise you will burn the coils out and your throat with it.
So your using 12mg nicotine in a tank that is designed for 3-6mg and running it at 220watt when the mesh GT coils are designed to be used at around 80-100 (will check when I get home).
All I can say is your lucky your throat is in one piece and depending on what batteries you have in the polar your lucky it's not gone bang.
Just like a car you get a engine what will do 155mph but you will never use it. Same with mods, you never max it out as it's built more to have headroom.

Also for someone on 10 Rollie's a day is not classes as a heavy smoker so yes it's good to start on a highish nic strength but cutting down to 6 or even 3mg would be best.
