Just got round to coiling this up, very impressed i must say

What build did you go for?

Single horizontal, twisted .25.
I am seriously impressed, so much so that this evening has been a game changer for me.

I bought a magma aswell as this veritas, had a play with the magma first and do like it, but didn't get the wow i was expecting, flavour is ok but nothing i can't get out of my kayfun builds, and do occasionally get a dribble from the airholes (more than likely my fault as I'm usually a tank man)

But this veritas, this is the wow i was looking for, this is the dripper style flavour everyone is on about, this is the leak free vape experience that I've been looking for.

This is the reason I'm about to put 2 kayfuns and an orchid in the classies.

Are there any other rdas out there similar in flavour, deep well and aren't renowned to leak i should take a look at next?

I had high hopes for the Hobo, but this copper FT clone I've got isn't quite doing it for me ... the original might.

Looking at the CLT v2 and Holmes next ... RagingMammoth has the latter and might have formed a view on it. Like you I might have to move some gear on first.

The Veritas is very good with a single horizontal or vertical, why so many people insist on duals is beyond me Leak free too, bonus

I do have one, but I only built it and wrapped it. It was a present for someone.

Looking at it, I imagine it will have identical flavour to a Magma. The airflow set up is the same. Just with an opportunity for more airflow.

Twisted .28 with a single horizontal coil for me. Great flavour comes out at 0.8.

The coil looks upside down to me, @OHMmyGOD
Basically, you've wrapped the coil clockwise when it would be better anti-clockwise starting with the +ve leg on the top.

The leg going to the +ve is coming off the back and bottom of the coil and looks close to shorting. The leg to the -ve is pulling a wrap away from your coil ... the other way would've given you shorter legs and a neater appearance. Just take a moment to visualise the install before wrapping your coil. Hope that helps.

You are right it could be done better. Its not shorting and wrapping it around the neg was a pain as it is twisted with little space to play.

Thems some mighty big words there, makes me even more gutted mine didn't arrive today. SP has been a pig recently, 4 weeks on a delivery that arrived yesterday, 24 days on the veritas/magma and counting
