I've got some vg and it says its already got 15% water added ready for mixing, do I take the 15% into account when working out , or is all vg like this

Where did you get it from? Linky? I'd say it is probably good to go but would rather check before saying yay or nay :D

Like say I was doing a 50/50 mix for example (forget anything else just an example) would I need 50%pg and 65%vg :)

Hello whit77. The water is added to thin the VG down - it makes no difference for mixing - just use the VG you've received as you normally would - 50% PG 50% VG - there is no need to take account of the water content. Just to reassure you, cig-eliquid add 10% water to their VG, so this is not abnormal, and you haven't got a sub-standard product, it will do the job just fine.

Thankyou for the reply, really appreciate it :)
Wasn't worried about it being sub standard product as it saves me adding any, was just worried about the ratio of my mix not being exactly as I wanted it to be

Hmm unsure about this, bet lot or peoples mixes arnt what they think they are, are they forgetting to factor in the already added water to their mixes?

For example of my above posts,
50%pg
35%vg
15%H2o

If you add deionised water that's fine - if you are using a decent online calculator or spreadsheet it will recalculate your final nicotine content and flavour ratios. 25% overall water content might be a bit thin though - not good for direct dripping but probably good if you are using cartomizers.

I'm not adding any water fella, and was more bothered about the vg/pg ratio not the overall nic content :)

Then if your calculator has an input for VGA use that 'fella'. Otherwise if you want to be precise and your VGA states the percentage water used - deduct that from the amount of VG you use and put it in a separate entry as water; e.g if you add 4ml of VGA and its a 15% aqueous mix then 0.6ml will be water, 3.2 ml VG - etc etc etc.
