My first order from stealthvape.
The voodoo wool is a bit of a revelation. Thus far I have been a fan of micro coils and cotton, finding silica a little difficult to work with. Voodoo wool is enormous, a great hulking beast of a wick. Stiff enough when dry to make wrapping coils a doddle. I've not found it necessary to resort to sticking a pin along the length of the wick. Once wet, it's nicely supple and can be poked and tweaked easily into confined spaces. Lovely stuff to work with. Wicks like a mad thing as well!
0.3 kanthal. What can you say about kanthal? Wire is wire, right?
Nope.
This feels totally different to other thick kanthal wire that I've tried. Altogether less springy and much easier to wrap and manipulate. I'm almost convinced it tastes a little different as well but that could be my fevered imagination working overtime.
So, since my goodies arrived this morning I've recoiled/wicked both kfl's and the fogger v3 (that was also part of the order) with voodoo wool and 0.3 kanthal and they're all going great guns.
Top quality wick and wire isn't expensive, it's certainly worth the extra pound or two over the cost of the cheap stuff I've been using until today.
