My first order from stealthvape.

The voodoo wool is a bit of a revelation. Thus far I have been a fan of micro coils and cotton, finding silica a little difficult to work with. Voodoo wool is enormous, a great hulking beast of a wick. Stiff enough when dry to make wrapping coils a doddle. I've not found it necessary to resort to sticking a pin along the length of the wick. Once wet, it's nicely supple and can be poked and tweaked easily into confined spaces. Lovely stuff to work with. Wicks like a mad thing as well!

0.3 kanthal. What can you say about kanthal? Wire is wire, right?

Nope.

This feels totally different to other thick kanthal wire that I've tried. Altogether less springy and much easier to wrap and manipulate. I'm almost convinced it tastes a little different as well but that could be my fevered imagination working overtime.

So, since my goodies arrived this morning I've recoiled/wicked both kfl's and the fogger v3 (that was also part of the order) with voodoo wool and 0.3 kanthal and they're all going great guns.

Top quality wick and wire isn't expensive, it's certainly worth the extra pound or two over the cost of the cheap stuff I've been using until today.

I'm still trying to figure out how to fit a piece of 4 mm voodoo wool in my 91% as there isn't that much room.

I feel the same different to any other , I find it very thirsty compared to both cotton and regular kanthal? although I wouldn't use 0.3 on it as I find the ohm is to high for me. I tend to get the smallest screwdriver in my precision set and use 0.2 and make 3 coils (usually get around 1.6 ohm) and with 2 i get 1.2-1.3 ohm

I managed it

I found if you angle the wick so the edge is facing down towards the air hole rather than flat over it, you can get a better fold so its easier to get into the channels

I was thinking of trying a vertical coil with the voodoo separated to form a mushroom down to the channels below the coil posts,as if I use even slightly too much cotton wool,it impedes the air flow and ruins the vape.Only thing was,the voodoo is so fecking thick that it still causes a lack of air flow though I was able to ramp up the power to max & still get wet vapour, almost like drinking the juice from the bottle. After messing with it for a while,I decided to forego the voodoo in the 91% and keep my stash of voodoo for the dripper(as in the dripper, change flavour requires little more than stuff the base under a hot tap,dab off the excess water with a towel & dry burn ready for the next juice)

Yeah it works but is a bit to big for the job. I'll have to drag that 3mm bit out of a dripper that rob give me as I know for sure the 3 mm should be perfect. Shouldn't be to long till he has the 3mm in :)

I'll probably buy the 3 mm eventually,as that might fit in my other attys(RSST/Aga-S)without drilling the wick holes(Aga is so small that increasing the wick hole would likely leave the + post floating,& the RSST has an insulated hole so can't drill it either)though the 91% is my main atty as I just love the vapour it produces(presently sucking on a lemon+aniseed mix that is "melting" my face, think I need add a touch of EM)

Yeah that's why I have a kfl original and a half decent clone as if I was to go without I'd probably have a meltdown lol

I have sit loads of attys but these are my go to jobs, piss to rebuild and fill :)
