I've recently upgraded from an evod vv pen to a vamo v5 and I thought I'd share my tuppence worth.
I'm very happy (for now [emoji39]) with the v5 I quickly got tired of the tiny ego set I started on and got robbed by a local fly by night printer shop doing a sideline in knock off kanger evod pens and tanks. I paid 25 quid for a 650mah 'evod ' vv with a matching plastic evod tank. I loved this and tbf it got me properly hooked on vaping. I then did some research and it came down to either a v5 or an mvp. I went for the vamo as I wanted to have the choice of upgrading batteries and also I preffered the look and if I get a mech I already have batteries and a charger. That said I still want the mvp.
My point is this. Why does my vamo seem so much more powerful at the same voltages? I was vaping from a protank mini 3 on the evod at 4.8 no problem but I've not gone near that on the vamo. I fried some snake oil by accident on high power and it got me thinking are the evod vv batteries really as powerful as they claim? Or was it just that mine was a knock off? Most likely the latter I guess. The shop never claimed it was evod. They are marketing them as 'Vegas Variables' and the tanks are called x1s or something. I only identified it as evod by comparing it go online pictures.
Long winded nonsense really lol. Anyway I'm loving the vamo and look forward to mechs and rba dripping etc...All the money I'm saving from smoking is going to go on shiny vapes [emoji4]
