WANTED: People for testing our new device

I've had exactly the same problem with the second turbo coil. Looks like this is an issue that needs addressing in the design department. Either a different cotton that doesn't expand so much or a larger center bore to allow for it. Or more wire to hold the cotton in place and restrict it expanding into the center or space within the coil casing to allow the cotton to expand the other way. Don't know, never designed a coil before. The vim itself is awesome and I've had no problems with the 1ohm coils or .5 coils. But without some kind of interference, within 1 day, the turbo coil becomes un-vape-able. At least for me with the 2 coils I've tried. YMMV. Gonna swap it back for the first coil that I washed and put a pin thru. See if putting a pin down it actually keeps the cotton out of the way or if it just goes back in the way again once saturated.

yes it's basically needs an adjustment on production, and they need focused on the issue prevent this, I'll pass on the issue to manufacturing. Thanks

Andy when do you want us to submit the weevim feedback?

I recieved my parcel but havent had a chance to charge/setup and use. Hoping to get it all setupp and daily use later on tonight

It's the 30th, beyond that we won't be able to make adjustments to the next batch, unless it's something we can do the fly like above.

No worries. Putting a pin down the middle makes zero difference. On the very first drag it's just as tight and the cotton is back blocking the hole.

you would need a tooth pick, something that's 2mm diameter and from both ends, I'll get a pic.

you want to remove the bottom pin and push it right through, in my case I have a 1.5 mm screwdriver that goes through easily

Yeah, I tried that. I've got a really fat sewing needle. Removed the pin and pushed it right thru. If I take a drag before filling it up again its fine. But as soon as I put juice back in and take a drag it's back to being way too tight. I can push the cotton out of the way but it doesn't stay out of the way.

Ah okay, it shouldn't happen anyway, sorry for the hassle, and I have passed the issue onto production.

@JAC Vapour how long should the battery last on the weeVIM? It's only lasting me half a tank with the 1 ohm coil in.

I've just put mine back on charge and I started using it at about 7pm last night. I've been through 2 tankfuls and it was only blue so probably not fully discharged as well.

No hassle at all mate and absolutely nothing for you to apologise for. I love the VIM and would definitely use it and recommend it to others. The regular coils are excellent and work flawlessly. The .7 turbo coil is fantastic performance-wise with extremely good flavour and vapour. A bit of tweaking and it'll be an outstanding coil that I would for sure use over Aspire's coils. It's been an absolute pleasure testing the kit and the coils and I hope our collective feedback is helpful and a worthy trade for your investment.

Still looking forward to checking out the .4 coils when they come back into stock.
