WANTED: People for testing our new device

That's my review posted of the VIM, done the review last night and still had it with me at work today.

Anyone know when the VIM will be available in a colour that isn’t white? Mine is disgusting already and I can’t seem to clean it. The finish is superb though, it’s been in my work trousers on building sites with metal shrapnel, it’s been to beach, it’s been in my hands covered in sun cream and not one bit of the finish has come off, but it’s yellow now [emoji17]

it's not a 'finish' it's solid white plastic as far as I can tell... ;)

VIM test form submitted.

Test result? One word. Fantastic.

I love this little kit. I thought the S22 was ace and still gets used, but since receiving the VIM, it's never been too far away from me. Everyone that has seen and used it has given it very high praise on the design and quality.

I genuinely can't fault the VIM. Upon receiving the device, I made a comment about the light push resistance of the button, but as the test period has gone on, I've got used to it.

At first, I thought the 1 ohm MTL coil couldn't be beaten a the best stock coil I have used for a very long time, but the flavour I'm getting from the 0.7 Turbo coil is out of this world, and easily compares with a Kayfun, which has been my everyday fallback vape for the last 4 years.

Once again, JAC done good.

Mine reminds me of that soft rubber feel. I bit like the VapeDroid dna 75 mod. Only difference was, that had all peeled off within a couple of weeks.

Andy which one is the adaptor for any 510 please? TIA

they and the DNA 75 are the only thing we didn't get back from Amazon, we are having to remake both of them, we should have the adaptor ready in about 2 weeks... total pain.

The manufacturing batch with the slate colour will land around mid to late August if there are no hiccups (which there shouldn't be), the grey one will be a few weeks after

actually that's why the mod is ABS, the rubber polymer coating binds very well with it, making it the only really durable way to do a rubberised coating, we've done enough metal mods and bonded with rubber to know that if you want an ultra durable finish that's tactile it has to be a non-metal material. The plastic body was actually more expensive to do than the metal, and with a metal body we could have reduced size quite a lot, as you can use far thinner wall thickness. To get the rigidity you want in plastic you need to be at 1.5mm wall thickness whereas steel you'd be fine at 0.4mm.

Its the Tonka Toy of devices, it feels almost indestructable.

Andy when do you want us to submit the weevim feedback?

I recieved my parcel but havent had a chance to charge/setup and use. Hoping to get it all setupp and daily use later on tonight

I've had exactly the same problem with the second turbo coil. Looks like this is an issue that needs addressing in the design department. Either a different cotton that doesn't expand so much or a larger center bore to allow for it. Or more wire to hold the cotton in place and restrict it expanding into the center or space within the coil casing to allow the cotton to expand the other way. Don't know, never designed a coil before. The vim itself is awesome and I've had no problems with the 1ohm coils or .5 coils. But without some kind of interference, within 1 day, the turbo coil becomes un-vape-able. At least for me with the 2 coils I've tried. YMMV. Gonna swap it back for the first coil that I washed and put a pin thru. See if putting a pin down it actually keeps the cotton out of the way or if it just goes back in the way again once saturated.
