Hey, recently started vaping again to finally put the death sticks to rest after smoking for 10 years, i tried vaping a couple of years ago with no luck (admittedly a half arsed attempt) but this time im serious...

So guys whats your story on how you got here and how are you finding the journey to smoke freeness??

Hi @StrandedFlux - good to have you here mate. Things have changed a lot in a couple of years, there is so much kit out there and so many different things to try compared to a couple of years ago - but the choices can be a bit mind boggling!

I managed to quit using CE4s and an ego stick, but I really wanted to give up and was smoking 10 or so a day, sometimes less, so while I had a few pangs it wasn't bad. The biggest thing that I think helped me was having several tanks and flavours on the go so if I got twitchy I would switch tanks, try some different tastes and then the nic urges would go. Vaping gear moved on quickly so the upgrades were fun and gave a better experience all the time so staying off the smokes was not too hard.

Some questions for you! What kit did you try last time? Have you looked at any products so far? How many are you smoking a day?

We'll see if we can recommend some kit and juices for you and see if we can't help you kick the smokes for good

Hi @junglist - thanks for the welcome when i tried last time it was and ipv mini with a subtank, helped me cut down from 20 a day to 10 a day and just couldnt bring myself any further, this time i got an osub 80w and a tfv8 from my brother in law and i have ro say im loving it, kinda want to get back into drippers though i had a tugboat back in the day.

I decided to throw caution to the wind and just got rid of the lot so i wouldnt have temptation all around me this time and its going much better and yeah i remember squanking from back in the day so i will definitely check it out
