Weak flavoured liquid

New to vaping after a life time of smoking, but pleased to say I have no desire for a cigarette so it seems to be working for me.

I was advised to try the £1 liquids to see what I liked but none of them seem to have any flavour - is that par for the course with cheap liquids? I am just trying a vanilla flavour and can't even detect any vanilla flavour straight from the bottle never mind when I smoke the thing (Aspire Pockex)

Any recommendations for good full flavour liquids please, the one I really like is in a disposable called Havano Vanilla by diamond mist but don't seem to be able to find just the liquid, only as a disposable. Thanks.

Hello @it's only me and welcome to POTV. Don't know what £1 liquids you are trying, but it is generally a case of you get what you pay for. There are some very good eliquid suppliers in this forum (Manabush, PrimeVapes, Digbys to name a few), and MrDJ's list of trusted suppliers is a good place to find some places to buy online.

I make my own so not completely up on what's the best, I am sure some other members will be along with good advice soon. Good luck and enjoy the forum

Congrats on getting away from the cigs.

Eliquids to me are like anything in life, you pay for what you get! If something seems too cheap, there will be a reason for that.

What kind of flavours are you looking for? Me or someone else will no doubt have some recommendations.

If you like Havano Vanilla (Guessing that's a tobacco/cigar) take a look at Manabush.com or Druids Brew.

Congrats on kicking the cancer sticks.
There are certain sites that are a bit iffy but i cant name them. (if they are on my above list then they have all been recommended by members on here).
There are quite a few sites that advertise at £1 a bottle and the only one ive ever used was LiQuid (post 1 of my list) and they have been around for years and produce thousands of bottles a week. they were decent enough but more along the lines of single flavours.

Drip Drop ive been using since 2015 and for double the price £2 a lot of their flavours are really dalm good. just bought 10 bottles of their apple and pear and its a strong flavour. also bought 400ml of their custard which is up there with some of the best ive ever had.

88 Vape do some decent flavours as well.

We are totally against disposables on here so ive never tried any.
A quick google shows it uses nic salt which is different to standard liquids which uses freebase nicotine.

If its a tobacco flavour you are after then Manabush is the place to look.

If you are after cheap but decent liquid you can't go wrong with Rejuiced, they have quite a decent range of liquids.

How long have you been stopped smoking?
It can take a few weeks for your smell and taste to return back to pre smoking standards so could be having an affect.

It's been about 6 weeks now, taste buds fine as disposables taste as I expect them too - I also bought some Heisenberg on recommendation and that had a strong flavour, but I didn't like it much - thinking about it, that was 4 quid...

Just a thought, but 50/50 PG/VG liquids should work best? I think a higher VG content will lack flavour in the Pockex. Worth checking.

ADDED: and I have used the LiQuid £1 ones, and whilst they weren't all exactly delicious, some were fine, I could taste them and the 50/50 worked for MTL.

Vampire Vape flavours are usually quite strong. They do a Vanilla Tobacco in various strengths and are usually available from most high street vape shops.
