Weeping kayfun

But it weeps out of the air hole, not just when full of juice, that's what made me think its the deep juice channels

If the o-ring that seals top cap and chimney, is displaced, on assembly, then the likelihood weeping via the air hole, increases as the volume of juice remaining in the tank, decreases.
On some, less well finished, Kayfun clones, the recess in the cap, where the o-ring seats, can be slightly over sized. On tightening the cap, that o-ring has room to be displaced, horizontally, as the cap is tightened. The tighter the cap, the more sideways displacement.
However, if you feel that the problem is caused by over sized juice channels, you can compensate for this by using a bit more cotton, or, if you use silica, use thicker silica.

I had the same problem, mine was because the coil was too close too the air hole and it was wicking out the air hole. Lifted coils slightly higher and the problem ceased.

I actually started a thread about coiling these up, I have 2 and only one is acting up.

The first one I photographed is the one in question, in post 13. Not sure if you can see the juice channels but I took a side on shot of the coil for confirmation on gap between coil and air hole, didn't get much feedback but maybe you guys could have a look and let me know if its far enough from the deck too rule that out

EDIT. Yeah you can clearly see the juice channels in all their glory

Oh and Sassy
When nobody was looking I gave it a big hug and a pep talk but it's still a weeping mess today :(

Poor Kayfun - I can only suggest counselling now I'm afraid :(

Theres some sort of ball bearing and spring in the fill hole, poke it with a cocktail stick of some sort or block it up and top fill.
That's some sort of 3.1 clone, for future reference don't bother with the 3.1 the kayfun lite + is what your looking for.(no side fill port)
I had the hcigar 3.1, basically shit, friends of mine have various other clones of the 3.1 pretty much all have the same issue.

This one doesn't have the side fill hole, it has a screw in yhe bottom. I top fill regardless, my 100% working clone does have a side fill though

The holes you can see in the pic I posted earlier in post 14 are the air hole and hole to adjust air control screw. I agree it does look like a fill hole but there is only air control around the deck with a Phillips screw under the deck for a bottom fill

Rewicked both kayfuns last night. The weepy one hasn't leaked overnight, but the other one is now giving me a burnt hit every 5 puffs or so
