Hi all,

Being a newbie to vaping I am a bit clueless as to what clearomizer to use. Should I use the standard CE4, a CE4 with a bottom coil instead of wicks or switch to a Kanger bottom coil??? What are the differences when it comes to vape quality, durability, life span etc.? I would like to use a few flavours and not just stick to 1 until my 10ml bottle runs out so I would like to take this into account too when it comes to cleaning the clearomizer. I also don't want to spend loads of £££ either.

Could I please have some advice?

Thanks.

Some people love Kanger clearos, some don't.

Some people love Aspire

Some people love iClear

Why not get one of each? Then you can judge for yourself.

I have never been a fan of switching flavours keeping the same wick and coil, I have a different tank for each flavour (I have many tanks)

The best way to sample flavours is with a 306 dripping atomiser.

Spending less on clearo's can sometimes mean spending more in the long term. There are mixed views on all of those popular tanks, ce4/5, evods etc. Take a good look around at what's available Vs what you want to get out of it. There's nothing worse than an unreliable clearomizer.
We're you a heavy smoker ? Are you a practical/handy person ? Can you get with the idea of rebuildable gear or is that a bit of a stretch at this stage ?... Ask away.

Here is my opinion and remember it's just an opinion... The Ce4 has a top atomiser so it will vape warmer than say an evod that has a base atomiser and the ejuice will also taste different , even if you use the same juice. The ego C is good for testing different juices just put a few drops directly onto the atomiser head and then pop on the tank/mouthpiece without the base, it's good for using this method for mixing different flavours without spoiling a lot of juice if they don't taste good. And as for economy, making your juice last longer the ego C , and evod burn more juice than the ce4 but give slightly more vapour, the ego W which looks like a pen and gives a very warm and quite thick vapour in my opinion seems to be the most economical in that it just seems to last a lot longer with this model and the clearomiser is a completely sealed unit that is filled with a needle bottle that comes with the kit. Your best bet is to buy different clearomisers as long as they fit with your 510 thread battery , you'll find your perfect clearomiser that suits you in the end.

I have to agree with waspy on this one, when i first started vaping i was a little wary of cleaning the tanks and keeping the same coils for different juices, so i just started using new tanks / coils for each juice.. Depending on your vape it can be can be cost effective using this method but then with other tanks it can be much more expensive. As Waspy said in his reply the best way to sample flavours is to use a dripping atomiser, or if you have a store nearby that stocks liquids you could ask if they have testers.

The store i buy all my liquids from has sample tanks for each flavour all you do is throw a friend tip on there and your golden.

Only really be vaping for a few weeks so I don't know how much my say is worth!

I got an itaste vv which came with 5 iclear 16's, at first I loved them but after a while the taste starts to get muted and the vapor really can get quite warm being a top coil.

After trying a bottom coil of my friends I got a x-jet spider as they are only £5 - £6 each. The main reason I got this is because the seals in this thing are immense. If this thing was to leak I would be surprised.

My newest addition has been a mini protank 2 v2 and I think it's amazing. No issues with leaking and it vapes like a beast considering it's only single coil.
The draw takes a tank of juice to get used to but now makes the others seem to tight. This is my fave tank but keep it as a house tank as I don't want to break it.
£9.99 on myepack and £14.99 from liberty flights with a free 10ml of juice (in store)

The only reason I didn't go for a big tank is I didn't want it to look out of place on my itaste. If it would have been bigger I would have defiantly got a nautilus as these look epic

If you do go for a tank from a vendor make sure you know what logo it has on it as many big vendors seem to put there own logo on genuine stuff.

Basically look for genuine products rather than cheap fakes but some vendors pay for their name to be put on a product, myepack are just one who will sell a genuine kanger evod set but it's branded on the battery with their name. It's still the same good product. There are also numerous copies around with 'ego' stamped on the battery & those are a mixed bag, you might get a good one or you might get a duff one so unless you actually know what you are buying you should stick to those trusted names.

Thanks everyone, there's a lot here for me to take in so I am going to spend a little time looking into your comments and advice. To answer vaporsizer I used to smoke about 10 roll ups a day, I'm not very practical and have been looking into the rebuildable gear out of curiosity.

What I am looking for is the 'feel good' hit of a cigarette so I would say it is also partly psychological, in some aspects, to breathe out the volume of smoke and have the drag on a cigarette feel. Now having vaped for the past few day's I am also enjoying the flavour of the e-juice and the less harsh feeling when vaping.

Now on to the juices. I mentioned switching flavours 'cause it's all new & interesting to me and there's about 10 flavours I want to try, 3 of which I have now. I am pretty happy with the Ice Mint one I'm currently on, but would like to try my Vanilla and Cherry Menthol ones too.

Thanks again everyone!

Hi all, just thought I would give some feedback. I bought an evod and I am really pleased with it. Much prefer it to the CE4.
