I've got a set of scales, but i find it much easier to use a set of glass measuring cylinders. I have a set going from 5ml up to 100ml. I usually mix 120nl at a time.
I only use a pipette to move my nic from its glass bottle to the 5ml cylinder.

Haha imagine! I did think that especially when I saw the scales. Reminds me of days long gone! Haha

Yeah it will very much be trial and error to see how I go. I was initially going to get beakers but decided on syringed in the end. They are so cheap anyway, I can always buy beakers if I change my mind or scaled etc..

I have a story about a similar experiance. I used to keep Tropical Marine fish and hard corals. One night i was mixing up a batch of calcium ( 2.5 kg buckets ) which resembles a certain drug before being mixed, Cops came to the back door which opens right into the kitchen. you should have seen their eyes lol, as they were talking away, yet looking at this plasic tray sitting on scales with a white powder being weighed. I twigged on what they were thinking and said " It's not what your thinking" and proceeded to show them the dosing station and tank in the living room, all had a good laugh,
