After buying a few pair of Cheap Scissors i looked in my notepad to find the name of the Scissors recommended by @nwhornet and treated my self to some Fiskars, every other pair i have had seem to cut at first then they are useless, especially when it comes to the Wotofo Xfibre. Hope my cotton cutting woes are finally over.

Had mine 2/3 yrs so should do. Still sharp as feck.

I've just ordered a well rated pair of fabric scissors but haven't got them yet but if they turn out to be crap I'll keep Fiskars in mind. Hope you're pleased with them @LordOdin.

@MarylinC37 They have to be better than the ones i have, they can't be much worse lol, I have some of the Coil Master ones that i sharpened and they were ok for Muji Pads but when it came to the Thick Wotofo Xfibre Cotton they were totally useless, Tried quite a few on the Xfibre but nothing is good and i remembered the name (Well i jotted it down) that @nwhornet recommended so bought some today. He hasn't steered me wrong on anything so i went for them.

The sharpener is almost as important, keeps all my scissors in tiptop condition.

@John R Yeah i agree, i got a really good sharpener just shite scissors till the Fiskars arrive, also have a Whet Stone from years ago, it's an old fashioned way of sharpening but really good as well.

Do you know what? I've just rechecked my order for scissors and it looks like I messed up because the ones I ordered are 8 inch. They looked smaller and I obviously wasn't paying enough attention. Fortunately, I bought them off Amazon so I can return them and I just found these on Amazon instead.



Fiskars Razor Edge All Purpose Scissors, Length: 15 cm

The picture didn't display but it's OK because I copied the link from your post. I almost went for those but I thought the ones I got had more solid looking sturdy blades so hopefully be less likely for the blades to deform and trap the cotton. I'm sure they're both good though.

I have quite large Fingers and Thumbs so the Circular handles are not so good for me, my thumb usually get's stuck in them if that makes sense, blades will probably be similar so all's good, i will update you as to how they perform and hope you will let me know how yours are. Like i said pads are no problem but the Wotofo Cotton is a bitch to cut and it's that i use most of the time.
