I'm not really sure! Just don't seem to get the satisfaction from it as I do my other MTL tanks, I know that sounds weird but will give it another go and put the coil a bit higher and see what I think.

Did you have any luck with repositioning the coil higher? I’ve started using a spaced coil on this too with the flavour improved from standard tight winds. I’ve used a KA1 26AWG, 7 to 8 wraps at 3mm diameter, ohming out at 1.30. Vaping at 15w is giving a nice restricted DTL with airflow fully open.

Cheapo Desire Cut 21700 squonker arrived today, quality is pretty good indeed considering it was only £13 delivered! I don't have any 21700 cells currently but have a pair of Samsung 40t en route, so I used the supplied 18650 battery adaptor and it was feckin useless! The mod came set at 50w and I tried to fire a 0.3 ohm build and it would sag and only fire at 27/28w with a fairly new, fully charged Samsung 25r - hopefully a crappy adaptor but won't know for sure until the 40t get here.
