so what are your thoughts on this? just been reading the news section.

ah, ok... I just went and read it...

it's an inhaler like the Nicolette thing, I've used those before when I couldn't vape and it was ok.

More people who are vaping instead of smoking always gets a big thumbs up!

I can see an issue though... Different people prefer different devices and need different nicotine strengths. It would be pointless giving a 30 a day smoker 3mg liquid. Just as giving a 10 a day smoker 18mg liquid is too much.

Hopefully the pharmacists will be given some basic knowledge on what to suggest to patients to make sure they aren't giving people the wrong thing and putting them off vaping for life.

Best off ignoring what I wrote above then! When I googled it came up with a picture of a pen style kit, assumed was a refillable device.

I only had a quick glance, but I thought it was a disposable inhaler in a ciggy shape.

either way, if it stops people smoking then it's fine with me.... if it doesn't work they can vape or something else.

No, you're right mate. The article says it's an inhaler style, obviously used a stock image of a vape as main image.

Couldn't agree more, less people smoking the better whatever device they want to use.

It could be useful for certain people or situations, e.g. if you’re confined to bed in a hospital, or on a plane, etc.

I think it could definitely work as a 'first step' ... it would give people confidence that they could switch from smoking to something else.

For sure, I used a couple nicorette inhalers when I was basically stuck in hotel all weekend and couldn't vape anywhere 90% of the time. It wasn't exactly enjoyable but it was alright. It stopped me worrying about it anyway.
