Sorry if this has been asked before but did a search and didn't find anything.

Just got a bottle of PA dulce de leche and wondering what i should try it with. What flavours do you think need or benifit most from adding it and how much do you use?

Dulce de leche is a very strong sweet caramel flavour, I have used this in cinnamon, vanilla, custard, peanut butter, coffee, chocolate and fruit concentrate mixes at 1% or 2%.
I find it a very smooth sweetener unlike Ethyl Maltol which has a sharper candyfloss type of sweetness...

Belgian waffle! It's a match made in heaven. Add in some strawberry and its even better :)

So basically anything. Lol. Interesting that you use it with fruit flavours, l would never have thought to but I might have to give it a try. Thanks for that you explained it really well, sounds like im going to have a lot of experimenting to do!

The best fruit flavour I used DDL in was FA Citrus mix, grapefruit flavour was too bitter even after the week steeping, added 2% and what a difference.

However everyone has a different palate what works for me may not work for you, but be adventurous.... Happy mixing :diy:
