I have a couple of Innokin T22s, an Eleaf iStick RIM and an Innokin Coolfire IV. These are fine and satisfactory, but I'm always after progression. Is there an obvious next step? Am I missing out on anything, or am I just being greedy? Not really interested in cloud chasing, so have I reached a natural limit with what I've got? I know this is a bit of an open-ended question ...

Depends on if you want to try rebuildables or stick with stock coils. As far as mods go, they are just a power supply for the coil. Form will be likely to grab your attention ie, shape, weight, pocket or bag, looks etc. Real limiting factor is money. If you're happy with what you currently use then no need to change, but maybe treat yourself to a fancier mod when you hit a milestone, whether it be money saved or time vaping.

Ta - I think it's rebuidables I'm thinking of. I shall go and educate myself.

Plenty of help & advice on here. Just be clear on your vape style, MTL or DTL, so you don't get pushed into gear not suited.
A warning though, you are showing early signs of shinyitus, a potentially expensive condition that can see you having more gear than the local vape shop :D:D

Go for rebuildables. I am hooked - so much to learn. Fab hobby never mind getting off the stinks. Plus it saves you money to buy shiny stuff :D

Oh I have shinyitis alright. However learning about amps, watts and volts would make my Physics teacher so proud. Definitle MTL for me.

So I'm not really sure I want to go down the sub-ohm route, but is it better for flavour? Flavour not clouds is my prime concern, because I'm finding juices hard to nail down in terms of what I actually like. I probably am trying to go too far too fast - maybe I need to get the hang of mixing small batches of my own juices first with my existing kits before going down the RDA/RTA route. I am enjoying learning about new stuff though :)

Rebuildables can be either. If your happy with the current vaping style you just want to replicate that with an RDA/RTA. Flavour is always subjective but there's no reason not to be able to replicate/better stock coil performance with a rebuildable. In general, & in my experiance, flavour is better on rebuildables because there's so much more you can tweak. As you mentioned in the mixing thread trying a single coil RDA for flavour tasting would be a great way to introduce yourself to rebuilding for not much money. Learn how to coil & wick & checking flavour profiles = win.
