What RTA do you use for temperature control?

Afternoon All!

I have a temp control device winging it's way towards me at the moment and I was just wondering what RTA's some of you use for Nickel builds.

I was looking at the Goblin, but the build space is not very big and to get a functional nickel coil in there would be a PITA (but if you have experience with this then advice would be more than welcome).

So based on your personal experiences what RTA would you recomend and what build do you usually go for?

Lemo v1 seems to work ok, as long as you trap the wires under the screw heads and don't use the holes. Single coil, plenty of space.

Like the look of it but it's a bit tall for my liking, is the lemo drop any good? 2.7ml ain't bad but with that awkward refill system it could get tedious.

Also do they take 510 drip tips or just the mouthpiece it comes with?

I mainly use the Sub tank Mini, and rebuild the occ coils, i tried the RBA deck, but prefer the airy vape from the Occ. (planning to open up the juice channels on the RBA deck at some point)

I also did a build on the UD Goliath which is pretty good, but fiddly imo, i am planning on change the screws for grub screws as a couple of times the Ni200 was cut by tightening the coil legs.

I wish they would bring out Ni200 coils for the Arctic Tank which i have been using on another mode, i think this tank would be a real TC winner as its very Dripper like in its vape, with 4 Air control slots. only trouble is there's no way of rebuilding the stock kanthal coil, but they are pretty cheap from China

Drop's good too, many people think it's a tastier vape, but there's not much in it really imo. Changing the mouthpiece does make a noticeable difference though, most fit fine but I've been using the spare 510 one that came with the Twisted Messes RDA. Filling it is not much fuss once you ditch the screw and use the rubber bung.

Heard talk of pre-made temp coils for the Zephyrus coming out sooner or later...

Not too keen on the look of that Goliath unfortunately, and I'm a sucker for aesthetics so that would be a problem, but thanks for the heads up.

Also if I don't find any RTA I like I'll most likely stick with my current tank setup: Atlantis V1 with Atlantis V2 0.3 ohm coil. It's a killer vape in my opinion even if the base does get a little hot.

I have a TaifunGT set up for it and also one of the UTAs. I hasten to add, I don't have a Temp Control Mod, but the Nichrome Wire has been a revelation in both.
I am hoping to join the masses before too much longer and see how Temp Control and I get along.

I have a UTA 2 kf4's and a squapeR with D deck all set up for ni200
The best flavour comes from the UTA closely followed by the kf4's then the squape
Easiest build is the UTA then the squape then the kf4's
