When all is said an done it is a lethal poison at high concentrations. Some regulation does seem sane.

Anything and everything is lethal in high enough doses. As toxicologists say “the dosage makes the poison”. By that logic we should be regulating everything under the sun.

Buying and importing are two different things bez. You’ll be away for a spell in the big hoose.

Okay, for your benefit I will rephrase it.

It is not illegal to buy it.
It is not illegal to possess it.
It is not illegal to import it.
It is only illegal for a UK company to sell it in the UK (or any other EU country, to sell it to an end user.

But if you want to believe otherwise, that's up to you.

It’s unlawful for those american companies to send it to you, bez. You’re a party to unlawful activity. You need to own up.

I suggest you research the mater correctly before accusing myself, or an American company of breaking the law.
It is not against the law, as you know I have imported it myself, and a friend of mine before purchase phoned HMRC, and was told it was not illegal as long as he pays the duty on it at the point of entry to this country.

Do you have different laws in Scotland ?

Can I remind you both that despite your points of view
Discussion regarding the buying and selling of 72mg is against forum rules so...
let’s put an end to this now please

I totally agree @TartanSpartan , apologies if I was in part responsible for keeping this going. I fully understand the forum’s stance on discussing unlawful activities, and will now unwatch the thread.

Is this correct?

It is not allowed to sell bottles larger than 10ml in the uk if the liquid contains nicotine if it's use is governed by the trpr.
It's not allowed for the strength of nicotine in said 10ml to exceed 20mg if its intended use is governed by the trpr.
It's against the trpr to sell higher strength or larger bottles other than as stated above to the end consumer if the intent is to be used in anything that is governed by the trpr.
The end consumer is allowed to purchase higher strengths and higher quantities and sellers are allowed to sell higher strengths and quantities if the use is not for anything governed by the trpr.

My apologies @TartanSpartan , I understand the forum rules. however my first answer in this thread was brief, and did not mention the words nicotine, nic, or 72mg, neither did any of my other posts. However when someone accuses myself of acting illegally I will defend myself fully.

@zouzounaki My final answer to you is, what I did is not illegal, and as before I suggest you research the subject correctly.
Also it is unwise on a publicly viewed forum to accuse someone of acting illegally.
I would hate to seee you involved in a court case for libel.

You will have an entirely better experience of the forum if you put zou on ignore.
Zou is one of those people that latches on to someone like a sticky bogie.
No matter how much you try and flick it away it's still stuck and just when you think it's gone you then realise it's still there but just moved slightly.

Zou interprets peoples posts with a healthy dollop of assumptions, presumptions and imagination stretching to complete blindness in some instances to what someone has actually said and what really screws things up is he replies to what he has drawn from the post and not what has actually been written.

I finally decided to create an ignore list and now find my time on here a more relaxed affair and seeing zou seems drawn to you like a moth to a flame I'd suggest considering creating a list yourself!
