what type of wire for recoiling evod/mini PT2?

I use .25mm guage kanthal A1 8 wraps on a 2mm drill bit around 18
.8-2.0 ohms.use cotton wick.

O used 3/4 wraps of .4 ribbon kanthal round a precision screwdriver then feed cotton through. Roughly 1,3 ohms

I am currently vaping with a 1ohm evod. I think I used .25 kanthal, 5 wraps of, and cotton wick doubled over the top of the coil. Vapes like a bastard.

I also did the same with a mini pro tank and it came out at 1.3ohms. Also vapes like a bastard, even outside

@SirCoughagus thanks , Yup I have an itaste vv vw so I can check the omhs.....assume if you have 10 wraps of that gauge then it must be pretty tightly wrapped to fit in the Evod?....... is that by definition a microcoil? , or is that something else entirely? I've watched the vids on youtube for that kind of set up but assumed it would be ok for the regular PT but a little too much for the mini?

You're correct... it's a microcoil. It fits just fine. The heads are the same for the ProTank, mini and EVOD so no worries!

.20 kanthal 2mm silica 5 wraps.. roughly 1.8 ohms, don't wrap the coils too tight

im using .25 a1 kanthal at the moment 9 wraps around a 5/64th drill bit and made into a micro coil ,thats coming out at 2.0 to 2.1 on my mvp 2 and then used cotton balls that have been boiled twice to get the impurities out for the wick,im actually vaping it now in a mini pro tank 2 as i write this so sorry if theres spelling mistakes,it hard to see the screen

Talking of recoiling anyone want to hazard a guess at what guage this is ?
