What's new

What's going on with the ELiquid Market?

Would be interested to know what liquids you have settled on. I am in a very similar boat although with a few more regulars in the rotation.

@JustDave I've settled on Naked100 and their new venture NKD100 Salt.

The flavours I buy are;

Verry Berry.
Green Blast.
Hawaiin Pog.
Lava Flow.

All 60ml 3mg 70/30

Then I also buy Lava Flow Nic Salt 30ml 35mg 50/50.

It’s a shame the nic salt thing has been pretty much killed before it started here with the trpr. I have some 36mg with fig/rose/violet ry4 homebrew that I’ve been puffing first thing in the morning, it’s excellent stuff.

Assume you are buying from the US for those. If you are happy to go down that route have a look at DB Liquids. Great flavours that taste like they sound. Good pricing and free postage to the uk.
They do most flavours in varying ratios too. No salts at the minute though.

If you decide to try them drop me a PM and I will sort you with a discount code.

Yeah, from the US. When I first found them they were £15 for 3x 10ml in the UK. For the exact same money I could get 60ml from the States. Can buy 50ml shortfills now in the UK but still works out cheaper for me to import it plus I'd have to import anyway for the nic salt.

Cheers, Dave. I'll take a look. :2thumbsup:

Making 10ml juice for 6p a bottle and selling it to a distro at 21p...

My bottle costs me 9p plus vat, my labels cost me 1p plus vat.... That is before my 20-30% flavouring (yes that much flavouring in some ranges as they are 'supposed' to be strong), before nicotine, before VG, before PG, before labour to fill, nib, cap and label each one, before QC checks each one for defects, before the required TPD compliant packaging at 9 - 14p per box. And all before every other expense involved in manufacturing and storing not only multiple flavours in bulk but also storing enough to have batches rotating while in manufacture and packaging.

I can't see where 6p a bottle is achievable.

yeah, I was really addressing that to people who clearly think it's over-priced. I don't really see that it could be much cheaper..

£5 bottle, £1 of that is VAT, that leaves £4

How do much profit to they think a shop should make? (and still make enough to even make it worth selling)
How much do they think the manufacturer should make? (and make enough to even make it worth manufacturing)
Not to mention distributors and whatever....

In my head charging less just doesn't add up...

I know a shop selling uk made tpd compliant juice at £3 a bottle, or 4 or more at 2.50 each. it's bought in at 75p, on a large order of 10,000 bottles or more, they sell absolute tons, and the juice is pretty good.

yeah but that kind of proves my point..... guys like @PlumeBlu (and probably all of our favourite juice makers on the forum) ... the ones being called 'expensive' by some people in this thread, cannot make/sell it for that kind of money, the implication is that they are ripping us off selling 20p bottles of liquid for £5 .... and that really isn't the case.
