Just an update, went with a Serpent SMM for my first RTA. Wicking is definitely going to take some practice for me, loads of reading to do and videos to watch but after a bit of initial spitback it’s working great.

I take it I can’t fiddle with my wicks after filling the tank? Do I need to wait until it’s drained before I play about with it again?

If you can disassemble the tank w/out losing the juice, don't see why not. I've trimmed and repoked a couple of wicks this way.

I've not heard of the centaur... let me know if it's good... always up for a new RTA

The Centaur has the best flavour of all the tanks I’ve tried in my opinion, only in 2ml mode, it loses a lot of you use the extension. I’ve retired mine though because it was so leaky.
Just got myself a Zeus which I’m liking a lot. The flavour is good, not quite as good as the Centaur, but it’s leak free and that wins over flavour for me.
I couldn’t get along with the SMM I found it so finicky. I’d get maybe a tank or two of lovely flavourful vape and then it would start dry hitting. After loads of builds I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
I always keep my Moonshot in reserve, it’s not my favourite but one that I always return to.

You turn it upside down and then unscrew the base. That way you can remove and work on the build whilst it still has juice in the tank.
