Which pre built RTA coils?

I am giving the Intake RTA another bash so after some coil advice as think I gave up too early after a couple of failed builds.

I was using the coilology multi pack of coils before but there were so many to pick from and they never seemed to sit right in the intake (again probably newbie error!)

So I think I might try some other coils so was wondering which pre built ones people would recommend based on my current sub ohm set up?

I’m using a Cerberus Tank with Vaporesso GT4 coils and usually at 45-50w. Only that high as flavour seems muted below 45w.

So ideally looking for pre built coils that will work well in the tank and work well at that kind of wattage.

Also when installing the coils is it best to unwrap a leg or wrap a leg to get it to fit horizontally- if that makes sense!

When I started I just bought 10 fused claptons from Fleabay for £5. I'd stick with this kind of pack till your both more confident and more experienced. After that give @Smut a shout, It's rumoured his is a dab hand at coil building.
I've had both NI80 and SS coilology sets, and found them fine. But at least two of the options were always left unused.

coilology coils are really good, claptons, fused claptons, aliens are the main coils used. don't give up, most likely build errors, I had the intake and it is a good tank, watch as many youtube videos as you can and try , you will get there.

I love the Coilology selection pack, most are usable but I tend to use the simplest looking ones first (like the fused claptons), the Ni80 are my favourites and often use them in single coil builds.

Try playing around with your coil height and spacing in some cases, I assume you have a coil rod for positioning?

Some tanks have opposite posts, some have them the same side, so it's X amount of wraps less a half when the posts are the same side. Coils usually come with an expectation of posts being opposite(or maybe the other way around, so inverse the logic), so sometimes you'll have to pull half a wrap away for a tank if the posts sit the same side (no biggy, you'll drop a fraction of ohms). Watts don't really matter, the coil (type/gauge/wraps) dictates the wattage requirement (your experience at a given wattage is subjective to a given coil).

EDIT: No thinking about, i think the typical build is same side posts, but the same still applies, you lose half a wrap adjusting.

Thanks all! So what kind of ohms should I be looking at for a single coil build? Running no more than 50w, hopefully lower!

0.3 - 0.5 , wotofo tend to put the recommended power on their coils so look up a fee wotofo coil packs pictures
