Which rta and coils

Hi I have recently wanted to try the vaping with an rta but it's a minefield

So I have seen the zeus rta and the blotto and the hellvape destiny but looking to see what u guys recommended

Also which coils to buy and cotton thanks

I use a Zeus with Flatwire UK Flapton Ni80 3mm ID, 5.5 wraps, dual coils. Comes out about 0.13-0.15 ohms. I buy the wire on 3m spools and wrap them myself. On a regulated mod the power I usually use is about 70-80w.

Cotton I use is Muji pads, mainly because they are insanely cheap and all of the "vape" cotton I have tried has a nasty taste to it for about 1-2mls before it starts to taste like the juice should.

If you let folk know what sort of vape you most like from the kit you have used, you will get better advice.
What sort of power, coil resistance, airflow, loose or tight.
There is an rta out there that is right for you but more info is required if folk are going to help you find it.
What is you best vape, so far and what is it you like about it.

Sorry yes I'm am using zeus sub ohm atm at around 50 to 60 watts with z1 coils I like the loose airflow and more vg than pg im not keen on the throat hit im using darkstar scones shortfill

If it's a restricted dtl your after, I would recomend starting with a blotto or a blotto mini, a single 3mm flapton using 3mm firebolt cotton, just thred, cut to length, fluff, tuck the ends into the wells, juice and away you go. It's one of the easiest rta's i've come across to wick right and ideal for someone just starting out. Once you get the hang of it you can move onto dual coils with the same tank.

Yeah, the one drawback with the blotto, with the afc wide open it's still a restricted dtl draw.

Yh I do like the open airflow I've tried some restricted coils and never got on with them

Restricted coils? Please elaborate on what you've tried and where do you have the airflow control set on you zeus?

I used to use the cerberus tank before the zeus and got some vaperesso nrg coils and they was really tight and didn't like them so went with smok coil
