Why are Chubby Gorilla bottles even a thing?

I have a bottle opener that I got free at vape expo that is designed for getting the lids off gorilla bottles. Works a treat.

Automation. The cap and nozzle comes assembled so just a single process to insert nozzle, screw on cap and tamper evident ring.

That's actually two processes.

1 Push on nozzle.
2 Screw on cap.

The bottles I posted can also come with pre-assembled lids and you just screw them on. Job done.

Some do pop out easy with just fingers but manufacturers will mostly source the cheapest for them rather than try several and pick the one that is easiest to pop the nozzle off.

Basically, not necessarily for automation but whatever is cheapest at the time, works well with their labels, and after a while becomes part of a signature of their company's product.

If i saw my juice in a different bottle, shape, drip tip, pipette top, color(and it wasnt me buying directly from them), i would question its authenticity

Some companies like to get their own unique custom bottles as part of their branding but most of them use pretty bog standard ones you can buy anywhere. Even the labels don't always tell you about authenticity because a lot a vape companies buy the liquid in gallon containers and then rebottle it with their own labels.

On the other hand I might just be being pedantic but I don't care. It's my birthday.
