1 It is very satisfying to be able to make juice as you like it.
2 You can save a lot of money and with tax and regulation on the way this will only become more so.
3 You will have what you require to adjust any shop bought liquids that are not quite doing it for you.
4 Strong nicotine base will be banned but it can be stored in the freezer for at least 10 years so now is the time to start your stockpile so you can say f u to the regulations.
5 It really can be easy.If you read some of the threads by the more enthusiastic mixers you could get the impression
that it is complicated but this is only so if you want it to be.

My advice is read the posts about safety and nicotine storage then get stuck in.
Start with a few simple flavours then take it as far as you want

Can you link to the post that mentions about nic being banned? I've had a look but can't find anything.

It's common knowledge it will be restricted to 20mg/ml.

I expect flavourings will become more concentrated to allow high nic mixes, but apart from the price going up it shouldn't affect the majority.

If you read up in the campaigns section about coming regulations you will find that nic will be restricted to (from memory) to containers no biger than 10 ml and max strength of something like 18mg.Whatever the exact numbers it rules out nic base in all but tiny low nic bottles.
Perhaps someone else knows the exact numbers.

Best I start buying up the worlds supply of nic then. Does anyone know how long it will store in the freezer?.

Ten years, in glass bottles (brown is best) with no air gap.
See sticky thread in mixology section.

All this stuff about restrictions to nic is just scaremongering isn't it?

I have so far refused to get panicked into laying nic stock down because I've seen nothing yet that threatens the supply of nic concentrate. All I've heard is that this MIGHT happen. Well, we MIGHT get hit by an asteroid ... would someone care to explain why it's a good idea to spend hard-earned cash on nic concentrate right NOW or do I continue to buy only enough for 3-6 months ahead?

If you have seen nothing yet then you should read more.Plenty on this forum.
I do not advocate panic.Obviously the best time to stock up will be the day before they announce the ban is coming.
I have less 600ml in the freezer and would be looking to add a couple more half litres before the ban that the government is committed to implementing by spring 2016 at the latest.
Why do you not know this? Or are you being optimistic about the campaign bringing a reversal?Or are you one of those that is comfortable with the black market?

I spent an hour on the Campaigns forum and found nothing ... got bored of looking for needles in haystacks.
This is just a plea for someone to be specific, I'm a bit tired of reading scare stories and anecdotes which don't point to any reliable source of pertinent information.

I have nothing against those that are stockpiling, I understand the fear. My perception of risk says do nothing until the threat is real. When a government says it is committed to doing X by Spring 2016 I don't see the threat being too real or pressing on me personally. Governments talk all kinds of shite. Governments don't always do what they say they will do. I haven't seen anything that says the government is committed to this, all I've heard is forum chatter. What do you know?
