Wicking material, fancy a change.

Good evening fellow apes!

So for a long time now all i have used for wick is Cotton Bacon more or less exclusively with the odd bit of Muji now an then. So i have no complaints with Cotton Bacon at all its worked fine for me but, I can not help but think maybe due to my lack of experimentation that i might be missing out on something a little better. So what can you my fellow apes suggest for me try or what do you recommend and if you can add a link where i can pick some up in the UK. Now i know a lot of people will think well if you like Cotton Bacon and it works for you why bother changing. "if its not broke don't fix it" but what can i say i'm a odd bloke!

Right well thank you in advance ladies and gents. Oh and i know its a big ask wanting a link so if your not certain on where to get it i am sure i will be able to pull it up with a bit of googling and actually doing something for my self instead of passing on the work haha!

Have you tried Fiber Freaks? I'm using some at the mo and it's great! Haven't used cotton bacon so can't compare I'm afraid. I got some really cheap from redjuice.

Not tried the Fiber Freaks @Shady Vapour looks good and price isnt to bad, will have to pick a pack up to try and maybe some more if i like it. I keep looking at the Kendo cotton @junglist especially the Gold as it seems very similar to cotton bacon but with a lot of people saying that it lasts a lot longer and that it wicks very fast but it is slow at the start when first saturating. Also thank you for linking in the review made for good reading! So that is two for my list so far thanks!

+1 for fiber freaks, they come in little strips, and different densities. Takes no breaking in at all. Feels very funny to touch.

But cotton bacon is lovely stuff too!

That's very kind of years you @richierich! The generosity of fellow apes constantly astounds me! But I would feel terrible for stealing wick from you mate. The nettle cotton really puts me off with the while having to boil it etc... I am far to lazy for that haha! Been seeing some good feedback on the Fiber freaks and the two different densities so grab my attention! I've got 3 packs of kendo gold on the way as well as some Fiber freaks and a fair bit of wire and new tank so, plenty to try and fiddle with when it all turns up! My bank account hates me right now though supposed to be saving for gear at the Doncaster vape meet haha!
