Hi All, I'm new to these parts (been lurking a while though). Just need some help on clearomisers. I use a Clearomiser that I got with my ego which has a wick, but I really don't like it, and will be honest in that I don't want to rebuild wicks/coils etc. Can I just ask if anybody has used a wickless Clearomiser, and if so what brand did you use and how did you find it.

All clearomizers work with a wick, but if you aren't a fan of the types with long wicks, you could give BCCs a go (Bottom Coil Clearomizers). With the coil at the bottom, the wicks are really short and keep pulling the juice to the coil until the tank runs dry without needing to tilt. There are a lot of BCCs out there - a popular and highly recommended one is the Protank. There's also the Protank Mini which is smaller but looks better on Ego batteries. Another similarly praised one is the Evod.

Both feature replaceable heads which can be bought for a reasonable inexpensive price (around £2 each). It's literally a matter of unscrewing the head when it's done and screwing a new one in. These heads are rebuildable, but if you don't want to go down that route you don't have to!

Thanks, you've been really helpful, now have to try and find reasonable vendors, any ideas (I'm not asking much am I lol:2thumbsup:)

The Marketplace is a great place to start since its stocked by multiple vendors :)

You can also find over 60 on our discount code page and over 160 in our Vendor forums further down the main page.

+1 for Evods, Protanks and Protank Minis. CE4 is OK when starting out, but personally I much prefer the BCC tanks, which provide a better vape, are more flexible and economical because of the replaceable heads and are more reliable.

The new GS-H2 are better and cheaper than Evod and Kanger in my opinion.

I absolutely love BCC. Pro Tanks are great but Evods are even better, IMO :)
I am not a fan of the clearos with long wicks at the top. You have to keep titling them to make sure the wicks are soaked with juice or you get an awful burnt taste that stings the back of your throat, the draw is harder (that's what I find anyway) and the taste is not brilliant.
Since using BCC I don't think I will look back.

So you like a bit of titling to make sure your wick is soaked with juice eh Middy. Sounds interesting that. whistling.gif

As for those GS-H2's, I've never used them but they look like something you'd find in a christmas cracker. Sorry, not an Alibaba fan although I might get interested if they got into flying carpets.

Oh and Patsy, if you click where it says THE MARKETPLACE at the top of this page you will find all our recommended vendors shuffling around and scratching their doodads, just waiting for your order.Patsy.jpg

I'd go along with buying a Protank v2 plus a pack of 2.0 ohm replacement heads. If you need any further help, then ask away anytime, someone will be around to advise you.

Oh and welcome to POTV btw.

+1 on the Evods (with my very limited experiences so far). Just had two more delivered today along with a couple of new juices :D
