Pear drops from alchemists Cupboard

Others will know better, as I don't like pear drops, but this rings a bell as a tank-cracker

Some juices react with the plastic tanks and crack them - these juices need to be used with glass tanks. Not sure about pear drops, but it sounds acidic, so it could be a risky one.

Just my luck!! Will try my glass Protank and pray for better results. Have a few evods coming from Alchemists cupboard soon, hope they don't go the same way.

To be fair though, I have yet to crack or haze any plastic tanks with juices and I do tend to try a lot of different fruits that should be quite acidic, some are known for doing itough th and there is a thread in general chat IIRC with known offenders

I use AC pear drops in a plastic tank and not had a problem. Don't let it put you off Patsy, we all occasionally get a dud.
It'll be fine in your protank for sure.

Seems like AC is a known "cracker" according to post in General Chat. I'll just use my protank for that one as it was such a lovely authentic taste, Unfortunately it spilled all over my duvet cover. Bedroom smells nice and fruity though lol.

Pear drops cracked one of my tanks as well but funnily enough a friend of mine also had pear drops and he was fine ??

Hi, I've been using ce5's for a while then tried ce6's (bottom wick). The problem I had was leaking after 2-3 days. Then I got hold of an Aspire BDC this is very well built. It has no wick just a lower cylinder fed by small holes. I did need to prime it by filling and sucking 3-4 times before activating it. I'm using quite a heavy fluid (malty toffee) It vaped very well with plenty of vapour and flavour, but most of all No Leaks. I have now had some 5 days on it with nightly constant use. If it continues to perform I will be getting another.
