I got the Wotofo Serpent RDTA a month ago, it's a fantastic vape! However, already two of little white rubber grommets that seal the juice fill holes and support the top cap have torn, so I'm now on to the two spares that came in the pack. I contacted Wotofo to see if they carry spares but they say they don't sell them.

So buyer beware!

Does anyone have an idea where I might buy some suitable replacements? I've had no luck searching Google and eBay.

I don't know about spares, but I have that RDTA and have had no issues. How did they get torn?

I only ever fill it using the one hole, so how did both get torn? I want to avoid this issue so am interested in what to be careful of.

I have a shit load of "spares" for other tanks, if you pm me the exact measurements I can check if any of mine are compatible? I don't have THAT particular tank but we might get lucky. If I do have them I'll post it to you tomorrow morning

Just from taking the cap off. I've been extra careful since I tore the first one but they seem pretty fragile. Maybe I've got a sharp edge on mine, I'll see if I can use some fine sandpaper to round them over a bit...

Thanks, that's very kind of you to offer. The outer diameter of the grommet is ~5mm, inner ~3.5mm and height is ~3mm.

I've looked through my spares thinking I had some old Protank coils that had that sort of size grommet, but I must have chucked them away sometime ago.

If it comes to it I could try some tape or battery heatshrink wrapped around base. It would probably only last a day or two, but shouldn't be too much hassle.

Ouch. Maybe there is a burr around the bottom inner edge of your top cap. I'll check mine when I get home.

I'll have a look when I get home from work, hopefully I'll find something to fit

So possible design fault! Will check mine later. As said could be top cap needs light sanding to get rid of a burr but that's poor of Wotofo not to have spares. Will also check my box of rings and grommets later. Are you twisting the cap when you put it on? I just line up the airholes and push cap down.

I had a good look at mine and my rubber grommits are pretty much flush with the outside surface of the tank. The cover just drops right over them so I'm not sure how they would get damaged. If you wedge in a nozzle or dripper when filling they might get pulled out a bit when you remove it, but you don't need to push the tip of the nozzle right in, it only needs to be a few mm inside to fill it. If the grommits protrude, just push them flush before putting the top cap on and they should be safe, so hopefully your spares should last you a long time,
