I have recently got hold of one of these and as its my first RTA I must say I'm really impressed. I'm now looking to rebuild with my own coils but need a little advice on kanthal gauge and how many wraps etc to get a nice 0.5 ohm coil. Any advice greatly appreciated [emoji106]

26awg bout 5/6 wraps on 2.5mm should get you in that area. Google steam engine app. Its invaluable for planning builds

Rememer to wind the coils the opposite way round too. It'll make it a damn site easier to line the legs up with the offset posts

It's a very versatile tank that can accommodate lots of wire types. You can stay with thinner gauge wire from 28 gauge and 26 gauge that will work fine and are easy to work with. If your a beginner they are good gauges to have to mess around with and are useful throughout your vaping journey.

If you want more wire to experiment with as a beginner it can see a little daunting with various TC wire if you have a mod that has that function. I would add 28 gauge NI200 to test the waters and possibly some 316 ss 26 gauge but you can get to these later on.

So 26 and 28 are great starting wires I think with that rta.

Keep one leg longer than the other so you can push it though then tighten it,The final leg you can measure /guess then cut it roughly to size so its much easier to just push it into place.
