What's new

Your first ever kit

Myself and Mrs kid really fell on our feet. One of the first vape shops in Swindon was called smokers angel (later to become ecigarette direct with the "Halo" logo).
The guy's there started out in 2008 and although most of the kits where basic in design, They really focused on Quality and compatibility.
The pens were ego and ce 4 designs (like most market and petrol station pens) but the difference was they where made by the little known Aspire.
All juice was designed or chosen specifically to work in the ce 4. They had a Chinese liquid range which was made by hangsen and a British liquid that they had designed. They where very good too with nic levels up to 36mg.
The staff where also passionate and knowledgeable.
The Halo brand liquid they sell is still very good and the starter kits and aftercare is still fantastic. Always great writing and articles on their ashtray blog.
Obviously things have moved on and they stock a larger range of gear and juice but I know they're still pretty good at making sure a product is a "good un" before selling it.

Jac Vapour S22. Brilliant thing. Got a new mod within a week as the battery usb broke, but the Jac CS was brilliant and had a replacement sorted soon after. Don't use the batt anymore but still use the tanks for going out as they are virtually bomb proof and the coils are great. (going out as in 'its going to get messy' going out)

Lol, the istick 30 was/is awesome. I remember picking Mrs kid up a pink one and we all laughed at the 30w limit. Who the hell is ever gonna need 30w.

Too true. Only 4 years ago but oh how things have changed.
3 weeks after that I bought one of the first ever sub ohm tanks which I'm still using today for my custard fix at work. The kanger subtank mini was a revolution back then and going from 10w to 22w was on another level.
Then bought 3 more istick 40T and then a 50 and then a 60 and then a 100. Yes I had the dreaded shinyitis bad.

Yeah we upgraded Mrs kid to the 40tc on release only to realize that tc was awful with the tc stock coils around then.
We grabbed the Atlantis on release then the subtank mini a few weeks later when it arrived in town. Loved them both.
The subtanks (standard, mini and nano) are still in use (the nano packs a flavour punch and is still holds more than 2ml).
And although I dont use the Atlantis anymore, I'm still buying the coils for the trillium.
25w of madness.

Smok osub 50W model with a tfv4 tank.
Two weeks later I upgraded to kangertech kbox with subtank.
Then DIY juice
Followed by rebuildable tank, OBS Engine and a Wismec predator. In two months I had kicked the habit of smoking but got myself a hobby which is just as expensive.
At least it's better for my health and I don't stink like an ashtray

Started with Vapouriz Fuse. It was leaky but a start. Moved on to Nautilus 5ml tank and Eleaf Istick 40.

I started vaping just before xmas and as a total noob to the hobby i started with this, the Kanger EMOW 'Mega'.

About three weeks later (last week) As a seasoned pro, I moved into the seedy sub Ohm world with this, The Crown IV.

I swore this wasn't going to be a hobby but now i am looking for a nice storage solution to house all the shit i am buying. I must have thirty bottles of juice, spare everythings, and still waiting for more stuff to be delivered..

Started with a ce4 type thing and within a few weeks upgraded to a greensound gsv with variable voltage ! Had that for quite a while then moved into sub ohm with a cool fire plus and isub tank, started rebuilding those coils for a bit, then I discovered mechs and went down that road a bit, had many mods and sub ohm tanks, rda etc and now I have streamlined all of my kit, basically I have a stride vr80 with hastur mini, the wife has a Kbox platinum with a hastur mini too, I also have a voopoo drag with a serpent mini for a bit of sub ohm now and then and a khv broadside and Kennedy 25 for a full on cloud fest when I fancy it
