Hey there DIY apes, looking for a bit of advice.

I'd like to make myself a vape stand, and being the troglodite that I am, I reckon I can bash a few holes in a crude block of wood to rustle up something that might suffice to keep this ever growing scrap metal collection in some sort of order. Or at least in one place.

Sourced some wood, got a couple of forstner drill bits so all going swimmingly, however what i'd like to do is get a bit fancy and drop in a 510 connector to secure the attys.

Has anyone done this or could recommend the best 510 connector type piece to actually try and sink into wood to achieve this?

I've looked a few different mod parts am a bit lost on this point so any help would be marvellous.

So far I think this would be my best bet, but is there anything that might be better for this purpose?

Silver Sealed 510 Battery Connector

Apologies if this isnt worthy of the diy section, feel free to send me back to general :D

Those will work,or modmaker do some too,or cheap as chips from our friends east of Ipswich-these look like easy fix-split,screw base to stand, refit

East of Ipswich.. lol

Cheers, i'm not really fussed where it comes from, just wanna make sure I get something that will work.

I guess any 510 connector would do it, but dunno if there was a go to piece type thing.
