Seem to be quite a lot used here and in the world of vaping, i.e. VV, VG, PG etc.

Can anyone shed some light on them for a n00b? :single_eye:

Atty = Atomiser/Atomizer this is the piece that heats up your liquid to create vapour

Cart, Cartridge = Normally empty aside from a bit of fibre in which you drip your juice into, when put on top of the Atty, the juice comes into contact and when you push the button or inhale on an auto battery, you get your vapor

Carto, Cartomiser/Cartomizer = esentially a combination of the Atty and Cart together. These are normally self contained, drip you juice in, top up when needed, attach the the battery and away you go. Most are in one or 2 peices.

VG, Vegetable Glycerine - Veg based glycerine in which flavours can be added to create e-liquid :) Often sweeter and thicker than PG. More humectant.

PG, Propylene Glycol - Most common base for e-liquids, flavours can be added. PG provides a better throat hit and a drier vape.

VV= Variable Voltage Standard vaping batteries deliver a 3.7v output. Some people like to vape at higher voltages, in order to do so, you need a variable voltage device. Most go from 3.6v up to 5 or 6 volts

Don't be embarrassed if you have no clue what someone is talking about, deffo ask and someone will always be along to answer :)

Vaping is a whole new world!

I might set up a glossary of useful acronyms/words to appear in the top menu.
Any volunteers to write one up??
