Any you're not sure of just yell, we can all help each other. It is really confusing when you first start out and as you get more experienced it is also easy to forget how confusing it can be. As it has been said it can seem like a whole new language and one of the most common complaints I've seen on most forums is the use of it can be seen as elitism. Hopefully by now everyone has seen that we a potv try as hard as possible to make everyone equally welcome whether you are on your first cig alike to having a huge collection of rebuildables and shinies. There is no elite here, only vapers here for and with other vapers

Lol! That was the point, but just for you:
Rebuilables: atomisers which you can replace the wick and coil in yourself. Considered to be suitable for the more experienced vaper who likes fiddling with stuff or for tight arses who don't want to spend a fortune on stuff they have to chuck out (I am in that group!). They can be for direct dripping (dripping juice directly onto the heating element) or can be part of a tank system (area to hold juice which then feeds via a wick to the heating coil).
shinies:an addicting magpie like attraction to shiny, usually bigger battery mods! Many vapers become inflicted with the shinyitus disease for which there is no other cure than to buy more shinies to keep the symptoms in check

Lots of acronyms and other abbreviations. And then there are the intensely annoying habits around naming products. Take one piece of Chinese junk and 8 retailers and you'll probably get 6 different ones.
