Advice for more flavour

ive tried quite a lot of deserts like lemon tart, cheesecakes, eton mess etc which are ok but for some reason i cant vape them much. custards on the other hand im getting through around 50ml a day since being in lockdown (which is still ongoing) and then fruits maybe 5ml a day and backy hit 1-2ml a day.

I thought they would be way too bland and boring so I was looking for complex interesting flavours. Something dark to replace the ciggie fix. But the last few days I've been happier with some black panther and pistachio milkshake mixed together. Milky with just a dash of tobacco. Maybe that's where I go next. I've started making a list...I sense trouble XD

I'm actually shocked at how little I want a cigarette. I think there have been literally 2 moments in almost a month but I wasn't actually tempted, just a fleeting thought. All the options of vaping are keeping me going well and that was exactly what I didn't like the idea of as a smoker.

I'm currently liking quite creamy vanilla flavours and I had no clue that's what I'd want. There are so, so many liquids I want to try now. I have a mod that's capable of 60W now so I'm trying to avoid looking for shiny things for now and keep it simple. I'm glad to know you guys are still interested and learning. It seems I won't ever get bored. Bankrupt maybe but never bored! :D
With a mod capable of 60 W and good batteries you should be able to find a vape that will help you stay away from cigs
A few years ago on another forum a lot of my contemporaries were raving about a custard named Welsh custard so of course I had to try it, well I couldn`t vape it for the life of me so I left it at that, same with tobaccos and bakery but there are probably hundreds of thousands of vapers who swear by them which goes to prove that there`s always something for everybody, be it tinkering with builds, atties and mods, or trialing or mixing juices.
The fact that you`re participating in these discussions is a sign that you`re getting off on the right foot. The main points are to vape safely and stay away from ciggies, vaping can become a hobby and a pastime.

I truly can't believe how many options for kit, coils and liquid there are Vince! And I've noticed reviews are tricky to follow as there are so many variables.

What's your go to liquid Vince?

I wonder if it's the juices that you've been using that are not dishing up the flavour. Castle long is very nice, but I find five yawns flavours a little half arsed and underwhelming. Which is a shame, because they do some nice flavours.

I'd definitely recommend you try some different juice brands - manabush comes to mind, and as others have recommended Legio X.

Coils do make a difference, but as you've noted, it's a bit of a rabbit hole. A good juice will be just as tasty, regardless of the coil you use (more or less). I would say that there's more mileage to be gained in playing with juices than coils, at least in the first instance.

That said, the fireluke MTL tank and some of the innokin mesh coils do bump the flavour up quite a bit.

CL was my favourite FP flavour, so you might also like my favourite manabush flavour which is Chiri from the Spiritwalker Reborn range. It is a full flavoured mother. Might also be worth checking Roseus Custard from Legio X as even though I never thought I'd get on with the flavour profile (rhubarb and custard) it has become one of my favourites. The R&C is almost auxilliary to it's inherent yuminess.

Druids brew do some very unique and tasty flavours too.

I mix my own juices so I dont really have an ADV, I have 5 rta and a dripper in use atm all with different juices, today it`s juicy fruit (like the gum) and cherry mentholish in rta`s and peach/strawberry in the rda

Thanks MHL!

I have some crow black on the go right now in fact. I have some bread of heaven too. Reading about these flavours and the reviews I expected a lot and like Castle long, I love the flavour but wanted all the oomph of a fully saturated coil all the time.

I had a look through the manabush website yesterday and couldn't believe all the flavours and variations they have, think I might have to buy shares in that company, there are so many I want to try!

I think I have a bit more variability with my mod now, I wish I'd gone for this before the starter pen. The websites scared me off a bit with complexity but it's not really. I want a few lower ohm coils to try RDL along the way and I'll give everything a try. Reading up on things and talking to you guys makes it seem much more free and fun than first suggests.

I found the same with Five Pawns Grandmaster - I remembered it a lot better than I am finding it now, then it hit me that this is a what, 6-7 year old recipe? Kit was different back then, then I put it in an atomizer of the same period and it sang. Same as Castle Long.

I smoke many semi tobaccos like Ripe Vapes VCT, Rope Cut Skipper and Dark Thirty, and a lot of DIYs. Also Welsh Custard is an old favourite that stands up fine to today's high-power kit.

Manabush's Waxahachie was another favourite of mine in the past, but I can't be bothered to buy 10ml bottles in 2022...

They sound amazing! I'm adding those to my list. Who knew tobacco custard would seem so appealing :D

Caveat that what one vaper like may make another one puke. Say bring anything with strawberry or any type of currant to me and I can't stand it. But yeah vanilla custard tobacco is an old classic combination indeed!

I've not tried one yet

I've not tried one yet but I'm avoiding strawberry, not my kinda thing. I was thinking about a blackberry crumble though, might be worth a punt.

I have a few different tobacco blends and I'm enjoying them with extra vanilla added in. As I said, not something I anticipated but it works. Next order I'm gonna go for it! Weird how you find a way.

I'm avoiding menthol too, I make a well known sore throat remedy for a living and I can't face any more menthol and fruit. Or bloody honey and lemon! :D
