Hi Everyone.

I’m a n00b here and fairly new to vaping. Not got rid of the stinkies entirely but have reduced my consumption to around 4 a day from over 20.

I have a Arc 5 40w with CS Micro tank with 1.5ohm coil as I favour MTL presently. I vape 0.3 liquid, 50/50 at around 12 to 14 Watts.

The tank is 19mm diameter (pretty much the biggest the Arc takes without overhang) and has a fixed open airflow. Also, any moisture in the driptip connection seems to make the driptip really loose.

Is there a 19mm Tank that I could use in place? The device came with another CS tank (Slim I think) and this has an adjustable airflow which I like better.

Thank you for reading!

Are you sure the airflow isn't adjustable? it's quite unusual not to be, it could be it's just too tight.

Also if you want that 'ciggie' style draw you nicotine level is very low for MTL, if the airflow will adjust make it small so you get a tight draw.

Might be an idea to get a higher nicotine level for now to get you off the ciggies completely.

I use 10-12mg for MTL and 0.3 for DTL

I started with a Nautilus Mini ....... and never found a better pre-coiled tank for low wattage vaping and 50/50 juices. They're the right size for you and easy to get coils for at the sort of ohms you're used to. I've moved on to rebuildables now, but still kept my nauties just in case.

If you don't mind making simple coils the Kayfun v3 mini is 19mm. Clones are dirt cheap between $10 and $20.

Second the nautilus mini.
Tecc are on-board the forum today if you need any help.

Thanks Vapaneezer!

It’s just two rectangular holes in the base of the tank that the coil screws into. I can’t see anyway way of adjusting it. The advert says it is fixed and regular airflow.

I’ve another tank and I use a 0.6 liquid in there and I rotate them. That scratches the craving itch for me and I go back to the 0.3 when I’m sated.

I’ve tried 1.2mg liquids and didn’t enjoy them at all. Too much throat hit and coughing!

Thanks but maybe in the future. I’m interested in mixing my own liquids so will try that first!

Thanks for the recommendation and will have a look. I forgot to say I would prefer something more squat in shape and size to make it more pocket friendly. Any opinion on the tank that comes with the Zelos??

Sadly not ....... I build now and apart from the KF V3 Mini mentioned already I don't know any more that narrow.
