Airports and Vaping UK and EU information

I'm flying Norwegian air next month and strictly speaking any vape stuff at least batteries is banned, both cabin and hold. Don't see how they can 100% enforce and it's definitely inconvenient and ridiculous blanket ban. Worse case I'm already resigned to having to bit fresh kit in Barcelona. Can't see getting it confiscated at security though.

Security won’t take it off you if you keep the batteries in the mod, and Also only carry 2 spare Batts max seperately in a plastic battery box. Eg 3 or 4 batteries max. MUST be in hand luggage for batts. If you take juice in hand luggage too, maximum 100ml bottles in a CLEAR plastic bag with no more than 1 litre between all your oils, creams, or aftershave or stuff for hand luggage). Or just keep most juice in hold baggage. I always carry juice in hand baggage though just in case they lose my luggage LOL. Anyway, Norwegian won’t check your hand luggage unless you look dodgy ;). It’s security that checks. You will be fine. You are not breaking the law taking this stuff on the plane (although officially, you are breaking their terms of service so they can stop you going on board officially, however they have never EVER done that to anyone, it would be all over the news)... They are just being A-holes, and this is just to make sure nobody tries to charge batteries on their planes (In the premium class they have UsB charging) nor actually vapes on their planes...

Hi guys, does anyone know if carrying tools for coiling and wicking (coil master mini kit) is allowed in the plane? I am travelling from Heathrow with Aegean and I am only carrying a hand bag and an on board luggage. Just need to know if I’ll prep my coils beforehand. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure things like scissors are not allowed in the cabin so my guess would be no. I'd prep everything before you go and buy some scissors for wicking whilst over there [emoji106]

Yeah, that’s what I thought too. I’ll prep everything to be safe! Thanks!

I had a set of mini screwdrivers confiscated a couple of years back. All tools need to be in hold. I am looking into a couple of pods for my next hand luggage trip later in the year to avoid the hassle.

No tools are allowed in the cabin of the aircraft. So you are unlikely to get them past security.

I've just gone through security at Luton Airport and the signs at the xray bit say no knives or scissors over 6cm allowed in the cabin !! I always thought there was a blanket ban on tools and sharp objects.

6cm is deemed safe.
