ok stop with the beating and filing (no offence intended)
akuma is 20 x .5mm thread (I know...)
would need to true it with DTI and use thread chaser
seam to 18650 may never be the same.....pm incoming
this is a worrying trend.

Literally the smallest of dinks and it's beyond repair, worrying to say the least.

Who else has had this issue?

UPDATE!

I think I have fixed the 18350 tube as now the extension screws in:



But now the switch won't screw into the 18350 tube, the 18650 tube, or the BRAND NEW 18500 tube.

Can I get a new switch?
Maybe Rob or Nata Vape Geek can help?

nice one mate really glad you got it together, threads on switch knackered from trying to put it on with the ding?

dont think GP been to forth coming with VG you can get a new V2 switch from here, just email them the guy is called Justin nice chap to deal with, if you try to order on the site wont let you because UK.

Dropped mine a few nights ago, dinged the lock ring & couldn't operate the switch again. These are soft metals & an impact on a hard surface will always do this. It's not the Akuma alone, it's copper mods in general. I fixed mine but i won't be taking it out again. Love the akuma.
