I know just what you mean, I gave up "smoking" ten years ago too, but never lost the nicotine addiction. I was getting my hit from patches (itchy) gum, lozenges, sprays, Oliver Twist ( flavoured pellets of chewing tobacco) and finally snus. It was only when I found vaping that I felt content. I used to say that if I won the lottery I'd be staight down to the shop for 200 cigs and a lighter, but not any more! I'd be online buying Snake Oil and shiny things

Thank you for all your warm welcomes. Yes, I know that many ex smokers detest the smell of cigs. I hated smoker's breath. Reminded me of my own stinky breath. But I do like a smoky atmosphere. But again, hate walking away from it with smoky clothes. Go figure..

My wife and i said we were going to quit but straight after the wedding (which we did) but there was no way the stress of that was going to get us to stop before hand! :D

Welcome mate (I'm a noob too!)

Yeah its crazy about the cravings after all those years. My mam, when she was pregnant with me nearly 31 years ago, stopped smoking straight away. She's never smoked since but still says regularly she could quite easily have a smoke. Mad.
