Anybody know what type of Evod to get?

Does the evod only come in one brand? Or IS that the brand name? I've only seen the Kanger evod on POTV, that is the only type and is it okay? Trying to replace these ce4's, they're mostly leaking. Thanks.....

The Evod is made by kanger, there are some copies out there like the xvod from The Electronic Cigarette Shop, but I've only ever used the kanger Evod so can't comment on the copies.

I have proper kanger evods and non kanger ones. The kanger ones have two seals in the base. And I have not had any leaks from them yet. Where as my non-kanger ones only have one seal and have started to leak a little.

I got one advertised as genuine on eBay, that seems to be leaking through the windows. I got 2 more from fasttech, clones I think, and both going strong after months of occasional use

I never fancied the ce4's as they seemed too much faff and thought that BCCs were a better idea than top coil setups, so started vaping with evods. I began with a set from The Alchemist where I got a kit set-up with juices for starters, back in September.

Nowadays I get the genuine ones from UK Ecig Cabin: they also do not only replacement coils, but replacement bases and tubes (perfect if like me you try out some of the odder and more unusual flavours not mentioned on tank cracker lists, and marmalise your tubes ) I also get the genuine evod batteries from them as they offer the 1300mAh version and I don't mind paying a wee bit extra for the genuine product. Tend to be fewer problems with the genuine kit full stop.

Thanks for all the info people, I was thinking of buying a 5 pack of evod's from POTV marketplace, when and if I get some cash....I deliberately avoided getting those ce4's from ebay and bought them from a reputable store, but they still leaked big time, one even fell apart in my hands..

there's a few copies bud but you're better with the kanger they produce good quality stuff
