if you need to flip it upside down you might as well just screw the tank off at a different point and flip it upside down to fill it., though.

i don’t get the attraction to top fill for tanks, don’t see any advantage.

Never ever have any issues with bottom fill tanks, diplomat is great for filling.

Yeah most of my tanks are bottom fill (dvarws) do have steam tuners top fill, (but that has shut off) slightly more convenient, not having find somewhere to balance the tank sometimes

If they work well they are great, but your right probably worth the risk, as no shut off on convergent, will save the £20 and spend it on another accessory, seems to be plenty to choose from

I didn't used to but I now prefer bottom fill rtas as they are simple and straightforward, which suits me, so no leaking and no jfc to faff about with. My favourite top fill tank is the stock coil Nautilus 3, no jfc and it never leaks.
